Venus von Eros is an adorable 14 month old Shepherd-mix.  Her foster mom takes her to the dog park and dog beach because, besides enjoying the car ride there, Venus delights in racing, chasing and playing with her furry counterparts, regardless of their size or temperament.  A bright girl and athletic without being overly energetic, Venus loves running and could easily by the pace dog in a doggie race.  At home Venus initiates play with the two other dogs in residence, who have helped to increase her confidence level.  Apparently not socialized with people in her very early months, md-energy Venus seems to assess each person she meets and, once she feels comfortable, will hang out with you and even cuddle, if given the chance.  Venus’ foster mom is house-training, leash-training and teaching Venus her basic commands.  She’s quick to learn, knowing that her reward may be a soft doggie toy.
